The holiday’s just went disco glam, a la Studio 54.
On the Eleventh #12DaysofGiving I’m gifting a friend (ahem, one of you my dear followers) $1164 worth of makeup and brushes from the highly covetable, limited-edition Nars x Studio 54 collection. Yes, my head spun the all way around when I tallied up the value too!
This collection is decadent makeup heaven with disco tones, shimmer and sparkles reminiscent of the famed dance studio. There is a 12-toned eyeshadow palette, six velvet matte lip pencils (including the beautiful dusty rose nude Dolce Vita), plenty of cheek and highlighter palettes to explore and a disco-worthy sequinned brush set. I have played around with the pinks in the Hyped palette (I posted a selfie here) and it’s divine — you can create low-key glamour (my preferred take on makeup) or va-va voom eyes, if you wish. It’s one of those palettes in which I would wear all 12 colours and it has immediately entered my repertoire of carefully edited palettes.
