Everywhere I turn my eyes are drawn to straw totes and woven bags. Perhaps it’s my intense craving for summer or that the style just screams “I’m on holiday in Capri”. I bought my first woven tote at an open air market in Mallorca 15+ years ago — I bought two, one from myself and one for my sister and they were miles too big for my suitcase — but I proudly lugged them back home. To this day I still get compliments when carry it in the crook of my arm. Flash forward today and you don’t necessarily have to fly to Europe to find a keeper.
