Summer workwear can be tricky. Figuring out what to wear that won’t make you sweat to death during your daily commute while meeting the requirements of a strict dress code (read: dull) can feel like you’re balancing on a tight rope. Here I’ve styled 6 work appropriate outfits but I’ve steered clear of the typical blazer/dress pant combo. There are other options that can look just as buttoned up without being stuffy. I do have to add a disclaimer — some offices are VERY strict — so if my suggestions are too light, simply slip on that blazer or tights and as soon the clock strikes 6pm, peel those extra layers off.
