9 Summer Travel Outfit Ideas

For those of you planning to go off-the-grid once summer hits, here are 9 outfit ideas to consider for your next city vacation. Staying chic, yet comfy is definitely the goal when traveling, especially when there’s lots of walking and sightseeing involved. I always look for natural breathable fabrics, like linen and cotton, and silhouettes that drape across the body that let me move. More often than not I wear lightweight dresses or wideleg pants. My goal is always to look like a local and ideally, blend in — so I steer clear of workout / athletic gear (nothing screams more, hello, I’m a North American tourist). I also believe that you don’t have to break the bank to look absolutely chic, which is one of the reasons why I have styled many of these looks with items from Joe Fresh and H&M. I shot this video when I was in Paris last summer and had a bit of fun with the editing. Hope you like the outfits and that they help inspire some of your travel wardrobe.
