Minimalist Chic from Muji

I recently attended a press preview for Muji, a pared-back Japanese shop that makes any minimalist’s heart go pitter patter. Their aesthetic is straightforward: Simple lines, a very clean colour palette and good quality which is the case for everything they design and sell (from solid wood beds and organic linens to cult-fave beauty essentials–they make the best cotton-buds ever!, kitchen must-haves, brilliant organizational systems and, of course good quality clothes). Think Ikea mixed with Zara but for the minimalist at heart. Surprisingly, not a lot of people know about the brand in Canada so I thought I would pick up a few outfits and show you what I like, how to style it and what to keep in mind when shopping. Sweater / Trousers

Everyone should own this sweater in a couple of colours. Trust me, it would quickly become a wardrobe staple–it’s made of wool, not scratchy and feels amazing!

Blouse / Culottes / Boots / Handbag (mine is an older style)

These culottes I wore on repeat in the video and they are so, so, SO good. Also, styled with these boots and that pleated blouse, its chic to tee.
